Team—
I know you all just finished your town hall - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Previously I sent you all a note, I stated the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most motivated and talented developers we have had the chance to partner with - and we’re eager for that collaboration to persist.”
Given your hard work and flexibility, particularly over the last year, you consistently demonstrate that.
The player input from last fall’s Project ETHOS playtest was informative. It confirmed the promise of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had refinements needed. It highlighted the need for a clearer identity.
The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the feedback to mind and revamped Project ETHOS with a renewed goal - one that’s poised to achieve its promise to our players.
The belief in Project ETHOS grows every day. To boost the incredible development you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce the new hire as the latest Director of 31st Union. After a period of conversations, he starts with us on the specified date.
His guidance and expertise in the competitive gaming field is vast, having devoted the recent years developing and managing some of the most recognizable titles in the industry, including the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, the battle royale hit.
Let’s together in greeting Ben next week. We are all looking forward to persist witnessing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the weeks to come.
